Austria Pavilion
Plans announcedAustria signed in April 2026 and has chosen its pavilion concept: "Join the Flow", built around the Danube as a living axis of economy and innovation, with an Innovation Lab at its core — jointly financed by the economy ministry (75%) and the Austrian Economic Chamber (25%).
Azerbaijan Pavilion
Concept reportedA World Expo veteran with award-winning pavilions from Milan to Dubai, Azerbaijan has confirmed its participation and plans to showcase traditional dance, music and games — though pavilion design, size and budget are not yet public.
Bosnia and Herzegovina Pavilion
Plans announcedBosnia and Herzegovina signed its Expo 2027 participation contract in Belgrade in early July 2026, with its booth pitched as a showcase for the country's business, tourism and cultural potential to an expected four million visitors.
China Pavilion
Concept reportedChina confirmed in March 2025 but has not yet detailed its national pavilion — the concrete Chinese presence announced so far is the Shanghai World Expo Museum's 330 m² pavilion in the Best Practice Area.
Czech Republic Pavilion
Plans announcedCzechia signed its Expo 2027 Belgrade participation contract in June 2026 and is building its presentation around space and cosmonautics, under Commissioner General Kryštof Šafer, with a reported budget of CZK 120 million.
Germany Pavilion
Plans announcedGermany is implementing its Expo 2027 presence through a €7.5 million federal tender for a 972 m² "Large" category pavilion, run by Messe Düsseldorf with a concept by facts and fiction under the motto "Germany! Out of the Box".
Israel Pavilion
Plans announcedIsrael signed its Expo 2027 Belgrade participation agreement in early February 2026, becoming an official participant under BIE rules, though no details on its pavilion's theme, design or size have been made public yet.
Italy Pavilion
Plans announcedItaly signed its pavilion contract in April 2026 and is planning an immersive experience around the sub-theme "Play together" — how sport, music and innovation drive social cohesion — with a dedicated space for Italy's regions and an open sponsorship call.
Japan Pavilion
Plans announcedJapan brings one of the most fully developed pavilion programmes to Expo 2027 Belgrade: an official Basic Plan themed "Play and Connect, Together — Playful Spirit of Japan", a Kirie paper-cut logo, a signed participation contract, and two promotional ambassadors.
North Macedonia Pavilion
Concept reportedNorth Macedonia confirmed its participation in August 2025 with a stated focus on 'experiential tourism' — natural landmarks like Lake Ohrid and Matka Canyon, ancient archaeology and traditional crafts — though no pavilion design or commissioner has been named.
Russia Pavilion
Plans announcedRussia signed its participation agreement in December 2025 and has announced its pavilion slogan — "Play to be" — framing play as essential to music, medicine and high technology.
Saudi Arabia Pavilion
Plans announcedSaudi Arabia signed its participation contract in April 2026, with a vision built around play as a pathway to opportunity — culture, sport and creative industries empowering individuals and communities.
Serbia Pavilion
Tender under wayThe host nation's pavilion is the biggest single national project of Expo 2027: a building of up to 30,000 m² with a construction budget around €40 million, designed by Belgrade studio Artbeat Lab, plus a separate €8.5 million exhibition tender.
Slovakia Pavilion
Tender under waySlovakia was the first country to sign a Participation Contract for Expo 2027 and now has a winning pavilion design: 'Living Playground' by Bratislava collective EXPO LINE, chosen from 9 bids for the 648 m² 'M Pavilion' in Hall 6 under the concept 'Slovakia – A Playground of Opportunities'.
Slovenia Pavilion
Plans announcedSlovenia will take a 342 m² small pavilion at Expo 2027 Belgrade, run by the public agency SPIRIT Slovenia on an estimated budget of €3.3 million, and signed its participation contract in Belgrade on 4 September 2026.
South Korea Pavilion
Plans announcedSouth Korea has contracted its Expo 2027 Belgrade pavilion: KOTRA signed the Korea Pavilion contract with exhibition builder Sigong Tech on 23 June 2026, worth 8,836,190,000 KRW (roughly €5.5 million) and running to 30 November 2027.
Spain Pavilion
Plans announcedSpain's pavilion at Expo 2027 Belgrade will be "Plaza España", a design by Javier Jiménez Iniesta of Studio Animal that turns the pavilion into a Spanish town square, chosen through an international competition run by Acción Cultural Española.
Switzerland Pavilion
Plans announcedOne of the first countries to confirm (December 2024), Switzerland will turn its 648 m² pavilion into a "playground of dialogue": Zurich agency Jeff won the pitch for scenography, visitor experience and visual identity in September 2026, presenting Swiss dialogue traditions as collaborative play.
Türkiye Pavilion
Tender under wayTürkiye has moved from intent to procurement: a Ministry of Trade call for its 648 m² pavilion on parcel A5.1 (design, build and operation; submissions due 17 Aug 2026), a planned National Day on 19 May 2027, and an expected performance-heavy showcase of Turkish dance, music, games and sport.
Turkmenistan Pavilion
Tender under wayTurkmenistan's participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in March 2026, but who will design and build its pavilion is not yet public after the government's construction tender was re-announced.
UAE Pavilion
Concept reportedThe UAE pavilion is expected to showcase sustainable energy and smart-city innovation, and to work as a business bridge between Emirati companies and Serbian enterprises — with a dedicated National Day of Emirati culture.
USA Pavilion
Plans announcedThe United States confirmed in May 2026 and moved fast: the State Department has already appointed Vita Motus to design the USA Pavilion and Trivandi USA to run operations, with a focus on American leadership in sports and music.

Plans announcedCERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, has signed on as an official participant of Expo 2027 Belgrade with its own exhibition space — the first time it has joined a World or Specialised Expo in this capacity.

Plans announcedPošta Srbije, Serbia's national postal operator, is an official sponsor and supplier of Expo 2027 Belgrade, providing logistics and promotional support for the exhibition across the country.
