BelgradeBest is an independent, English-language guide to Belgrade, written for foreign visitors, newcomers, and anyone trying to understand the city from the outside — travellers planning a trip, people weighing a longer stay, and those researching medical travel or Expo 2027.
How every page is researched
Every page is built on a curated, source-checked knowledge base rather than rewritten from other blogs. The process, in plain terms:
- Deep research first. Facts are gathered from primary sources — official announcements, institutional data, city and transport authorities, and current on-the-ground reporting — using modern deep-research tools, then compiled into a per-topic knowledge base.
- Validated, then manually reviewed. Drafts are checked against that knowledge base, and every page is manually reviewed and revised by the site's editors before it is published. Nothing goes live unread.
- Confirmed, reported, or unknown. Where a fact is official, we state it plainly; where it is only reported, we say so; and where something isn't settled yet, we mark it as unknown rather than guess. You'll see this labelling across the Expo 2027 pages especially.
- Evergreen by design. We focus on what stays true — how the city works, what's worth your time, how to get around — and leave perishable details, like live prices and exact opening hours, to the official and booking sites that keep them current.
- Dated updates. Every article shows when it was last updated, and the date changes only when the page is actually re-checked or revised — not on a timer.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, we want to know. Tell us the page and what's wrong via the contact page and we'll check it against sources and fix it. We're independent, and we'd rather be corrected than be wrong.
Medical content
Our medical-tourism pages explain how the sector works and what realistic costs and trade-offs look like. They are not medical advice, we never name or endorse specific clinics, and we tell you throughout to verify pricing, credentials and aftercare directly with any provider you consider. Anything clinical belongs between you and a qualified doctor.
Independence
We are not sponsored by any hotel, clinic, tour operator, or tourism board, and no one pays to be recommended. When we point you toward something to book, it's because it's the genuinely useful answer on the page — see how we make money for the full disclosure.
Who it's for
If you want a polished postcard, there are prettier cities. If you want to actually understand Belgrade and use it well, that's what this guide is for.
